Nadine Bernard
CEO
With over five years of experience in Indigenous relations, the CEO of Indigevisor is dedicated to creating supportive and empowering spaces for women within the company. She identifies as Mi'kmaq and enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her favorite aspect of her work is watching her team members grow and thrive, reflecting her commitment to mentorship and sustainable community development. She continues to champion initiatives that bring positive change to Mi'kmaq communities and beyond.
Ashley DeBeyer
Central Projects and Engagement Lead
Ashley joined Indigevisor in May 2024, bringing a background enriched by land-based learning and traditional knowledge. A graduate of Trent University, Ashley holds an honors degree in Indigenous Environmental Studies and has engaged with community-focused projects, from birch bark canoe builds to sugar bush activities, inspired by the Two-Eyed Seeing framework introduced by Mi’kmaq Elders. Being non-Indigenous (Dutch), Ashley values her family and extended community, often working on stained glass projects and reading among nature. She cherishes the collaborative work environment at Indigevisor, especially the connections with her colleagues, which fuel her passion for fostering future generations’ appreciation for Indigenous knowledge. Ashley looks forward to further exploring AI integration and advancing business development skills to support Indigevisor's mission.
Brenna Reynolds
Business Development and Communications Lead
With an extensive background in public relations, project management, and municipal government, this team member has been part of Indigevisor since June 2024. A settler of Scottish ancestry, she has spent a decade on her personal reconciliation journey, actively engaged in community-building efforts. Her passions include cooking, gardening, and contributing to her local residents association. She values the opportunity to guide organizations on their reconciliation journeys, inspired by her initial experience as a client of Indigevisor. She aspires to deepen her understanding of Indigenous communication and research methods to help clients incorporate reconciliation as a core business practice.
Carolann Battiste
Office Administrator
A recent graduate from NSCC with a certification in Office Administration, this team member joined Indigevisor in May 2024. Her diverse background includes labor work and traffic control, with recent roles in sales and administration. As a proud First Nation woman and devoted mother, she draws inspiration from her daughter. Her interests include cooking, music, and organizing, with a focus on bringing joy to those around her. She appreciates Indigevisor’s supportive environment, especially the “Mama Bear” spirit among the team. Eager to expand her knowledge, she hopes to become more assertive and involved in initiatives that support her team and community.
